Vijay’s fate continues – What does this mean? It’s so simple; ‘Vettaikaran’ in no way differs from his pervious films that were dissatisfying for the universal audiences. Vijay follows the same pattern of superman act of jumping from loftiest water falls with just a wound on his knee, yelling with punch dialogues and flying reverse sans gravity effects in stunt sequences.

The day Vijay stops working on these elements, he’s sure to make it big and gain yet more masses towards him. It’s worth mentioning that Vijay had whole lot of female fans, but with most of his recent films merely bounded to violence and punch dialogues, he’s loosing away the attention.

‘Vettaikaran’ has a right mix of Dharani’s ‘Dhill’ (mentor of Babu Sivan), ‘Tirupatchi’ and ‘Bhagavathy’.

The film is about Ravi (Vijay) in Tuticorin, whose only aim is to become a cop just like an IPS officer Rajendran. After passing his 12th std examination after 4 attempts, Ravi heads for Chennai with a big dream of completing his graduation and becoming a cop. He comes across his cherubic girl Susheela (Anushka) and falls in love at first sight with her.

After joining a college in Chennai, Ravi hires an auto from his girl classmate’s father (Manickam Vinayagam) for bread and butter. When things are well and fine, Ravi feels so disappointed as he isn’t able to meet his role model Rajendran IPS as his house is always locked. His neighbors reveal that he has fled to Delhi on some mission and will return merely after 6 months, which is not true.

Meanwhile, he comes in for a hand-in-hand combat with a local goon Chella, who handles illegal businesses of his don father Vedanayagam (Salim Ghosh).

What follows next is a series of more clichéd storyline that can be doubtlessly predicted.

As usual Vijay dances well, utters dialogues that favors his fans and ‘Thai Kulam’. But in the second half, he starts beating the same bush of high-pitched punch dialogues. Though they aren’t more in number, the stunt sequences will really annoy you after a certain extent. Anushka, the red-hot girly makes you forget her ‘Arundhathi’ image as she gets into extreme glamour. Of course, she will leave a big lump in your throats out on erotic blast. Salim Ghosh does justice to his role, but is found repeating the same act again and again. Satyan is okay and Shayaji Shinde as a bad-turned-good cop has done a good job. The person taking on the role of Rajendran IPS is great though he reminds off Nasser’s similar role in ‘Dhill’.

There are whole lots of absurdities so blatant and Babu Sivan should’ve strictly paid attention to these aspects that would have made the film finer. The second half is too lengthy with already seen ingredients of Vijay Vs Aashish Vidyarthi in ‘Bhagavathy’ and Vijay Vs rowdies in ‘Tirupatchi’. It would’ve been better if Vijay had foreshortened the stunt parts in second half. For God’s sake, he can stop conveying social messages… We’re curiously waiting for some of his best entertainers like ‘Badri’, ‘Youth’ and ‘Ghilli’….

After a long time, almost all the songs in Vijay’s film impress the audiences. Especially, he has completely changed his dancing style from his previous films.

Cinematography isn’t impressive and editing is mediocre.

On whole, Sun Pictures’ vivid promotions may turn this average film into a top-drawer, since it’s far better than some of the previous films that were released by the same production house this year.

After 25 days of illness and several tests later, the doctors finally got to the cause of the problem. Salman Khan was with her at the hospital. Chanderi weavers of Madhya Pradesh have a new self-appointed marketing wizard — Aamir Khan. When the star learnt about the weavers' plight during a recent visit to Pranpur village in the district, he immediately decided to promote the art all over the country. In fact, on Monday night, he and Kareena Kapoor wove a sari, which they will soon auction.

"The actors obviously did not weave as well as the weavers, but Aamir requested the weavers to not change it, as he wanted to auction the sari through an NGO. It will have names of both the actors on it," said a source.
The actor will also soon set up a business model with the help of designers and NGOs.
"Aamir learnt that the weavers are grossly underpaid. The weaver is paid only Rs 1,000 per sari, while they are sold for Rs 9,000 to Rs 25,000. Due to this, the next generation does not want to carry on the tradition," said the source.
Aamir's spokesperson confirmed the news, adding, "Aamir has approached a few designers to help promote the saris." Said Kareena, "I am really thankful to Aamir for taking me to Chanderi. I was upset that the weavers live in small huts with no electricity. At the same time, it was amazing to weave a sari. Aamir has requested me to promote the saris. I don't mind being their unofficial brand ambassador."
She added that Aamir had bought a few saris for his wife Kiran and had gifted her one too, which she wore for a press conference last night.
The family of weavers the actors met at Chanderi will be flown to Mumbai for the premiere of 3 Idiots.

Aamir Khan, who is travelling incognito across the country, met with a mishap on Sunday at Varanasi.

The auto-rickshaw the actor was travelling (in an old man's garb) in, collided with another three-wheeler ahead of it. The accident occurred when Aamir's driver slammed the brakes as the auto ahead of it tilted while trying to avert a pothole.
Aamir was unhurt but one of his two co-travellers sustained several bruises. He was taken to a medical centre and discharged soon after.
Says a source, "At around 5 am on Sunday, while returning from the Dasaswamedh Ghat where he had taken a boat ride, the auto ahead of Aamir's rickshaw tilted due to the potholes on the road. To avoid a collision, Aamir's rickshaw was forced to grind to a halt. Due to the impact, a co-passenger was hurt.
Aamir's publicist confirms the mishap and says, "He was lucky to be saved. He did not sustain any injuries."
The actor has been travelling in disguise as part of his marketing blitzkrieg for his forthcoming film 3 Idiots.
The publicist adds, "Two crew members of 3 Idiots are accompanying Aamir. One of them was badly injured and spent five hours receiving medical aid after which which he was discharged."
As part of his promotions for the film Aamir has a launched a reality game to hunt him. Till days before the film releases on Christmas, he will be backpacking across the country and his friends will give clues which would help people locate him. The winner gets to spend New Year's Eve with Aamir and his family.

Emraan Hashmi is all set to change his serial kisser image with his upcoming film Once Upon A Time In Mumbai — he will flaunt six-pack abs and will be seen challenging an underworld don.
    Director Milan Luthria says that he purposely wanted to give Emraan this look. “Emraan has always been the underdog and his character is that of a rebel, a dark horse. I wanted to break his serial kisser image and add shock value to the film,” said Luthria.
    “I chose Emraan and then styled him this way as it was difficult to find a youngster, who in levels of intensity could be equal and at same time opposite to that of Ajay Devgn.”
    The film is based on the Mumbai underworld of the seventies and Emraan’s character challenges the underworld don, played by Ajay.
    “The role in the film demanded a look like this. It’s not just about the six packs, my character had to look physically tough. It was one of the key requirements of the script,” said Emraan.
    The actor, who has done hit films like Murder, Kalyug, Jannat and Raaz — The Mystery Continues, underwent rigorous training and followed a strict diet to obtain the sculpted body.
    Emraan was given Angular training method and the training period was divided into blocks of 10 days.
    The actor was advised to have five-six meals a day and followed guidelines like consuming fats, which were four and five grams of fish oil for fat loss, walnuts and almonds, carb manipulation for losing fat and maintaining muscle mass and protein intake.
    Earlier, Shah Rukh Khan and Aamir Khan went for six-pack for Om Shanti Om and Ghajini respectively. Shahid Kapoor is doing two better — he will show off eight-pack abs in his forthcoming film, Chance Pe Dance.
    Once Upon A Time... also stars Kangna Ranaut and Prachi Desai and is expected to hit screens in June next year

Are you relieved or sad to be out of Bigg Boss aired on Colors?

• It feels great that I’ve managed to stay in the house for 10 weeks. I missed my family. It was difficult for me since I had language issues. Of course, there were both happy and sad months. But I’d still say it has been a lifetime experience. I’m interested in Bollywood and conducted myself in a way that people understood who the real Claudia is.

Who do you think is the most vicious person in the house now?

• It’s Bakhtyaar. He is the most confusing person. Initially, he used to bitch a lot. But later on, he started reading The Bible. But even when I say Bakhtyaar is the meanest contestant, I must add that everyone has been playing a mental game. It’s not fair to be judgemental since nobody is good or bad.
Were things too close to reality in the house or did they seem very unreal?

• There were times when I felt that things that we did were unreal. We were worried about who stole my egg. In real life, one wouldn’t do such a thing. But then again, stealing an egg is very symbolic too. In reality, there are so many others stealing so many things from our lives. And don’t we end up fighting for it? Another interesting parallel with real life is that both in the Bigg Boss house as well as at the workplace, we often have to often grin and bear it.
Do you call a spade a spade?

• If I don’t like somebody, I’m not nice. I didn’t like KRK and told him that he shouldn’t speak to me. But I hate the idea of being very sweet and nice upfront and then backstab. That’s fake.
Did your perception of KRK change after he returned to the house?

• His first visit was just a promotion of himself and his movie. And I must say that he achieved his end. Saying that he would get 21 sets of clothes because he wanted to be in the house for 21 days was all part of his promotional strategy. What I absolutely loathed about him was the way he threw bottles. If I don’t like someone, I will use my wits, words and not use brute force to express discontent. During his second visit, KRK was more his actual self. He washed his clothes and broke bread with us too.
Are you in love with Pravesh Rana?

• I’m not in love with Pravesh. We are of the same age group. Two days after he entered the house, we were sent to jail. Twenty four hours behind bars with him brought us closer. Since both of us have a modelling background, we had lots to share too.
Was the are-we are-we-not-in-love ambiguity only a ruse to jack up TRPs?

• No, not at all. It wasn’t any PR thing. We were getting bored since there was absolutely nothing else to do. Pravesh and I are good friends like Aditi (Govitrikar) and Bakhtyaar (Irani).
Did you flirt with him?

• No. We are very focussed in life. My career and education are important. I have no time for love. It’s the same with Pravesh too.
So what does Pravesh being a timepass mean?

• Oh! I thought it meant spending time with him. Actually, we’ve often used the word casually. We say stuff like let’s have tea as timepass. I never thought that the word could have a negative connotation.
Is the dinner date with him still on?

• Pravesh lost the wager. Let’s see what happens now.
Has this show made you more of a gossip-monger?

• It’s about how you interpret the word gossip. If gossip means talking about people, it’s a positive attribute. The term becomes negative when someone calls it bitching.
Are you in awe of Big B?

• I don’t fear him. My biggest high is to be interviewed by him. I’ve seen a few of his films. I wish I could have told him how much I loved Black.

Between Big B and Salman Khan, who would you wish to share the frame with?

It was taken as a truce between two of the film industry's biggest superstars, Aamir Khan and Shah Rukh Khan. Reportedly it was Aamir who extended the olive branch — he first apologised to SRK on a TV chat show and the two later shared a common platform during the producer vs multiplex faceoff, in part thanks to Karan Johar who played a mediator's role.

However, the Ghajini star's recent comments come as a surprise as it suggests that all might not really be well between them. "I haven't apologised to Shah Rukh and I see no need to do so. But I have said sorry to his children as they were hurt that I had written Shah Rukh's name that was given to a dog," Aamir said.
Aamir had created quite a stir when he wrote on his blog that he had a dog called Shah Rukh and that it was licking his feet. The comment upset King Khan who said that his children were big fans of Aamir, but not any longer. It was then that Aamir was reported to have apologised to Shah Rukh as well as his children. He then stopped referring to the dog as Shah Rukh and started calling him Shaaki instead.
"I was upset to hear that Shah Rukh's children were unhappy with me. I had no intention of hurting them. I have stopped calling the dog by its earlier name," Aamir said during the release of a coffee-table book on Guru Dutt.
The event also saw SRK's closest ally and loyalist Karan Johar sharing a genuine camaraderie with Aamir. Katrina Kaif, who after her alleged break-up with Salman is in the good books of SRK, was also present at the event hosted by the flamboyant Vijay Mallya. Kat also shares a great rapport with Mallya having been the face of his 20:20 IPL cricket team.

The wanking sequence was shot with 450 other actors present on the set. Neil recalls, "All the inmates are asleep when I do it. Now, most of the scene has been chopped off. But we still see the character doing it." All that remains now is the suggestion of his 'happy alone' time.
By mutual consent
A portion of the sequence was voluntarily removed from the film even before it was presented to the Censor Board. Says Neil, "Honestly, after Madhur and I shot it, we found we had gone too far. It was too explicit. It was just not going with Indian aesthetics. So we decided to knock it off quite a bit by mutual consent. We just wondered if the flow of the narration would be hampered."
That's not only sexually explicit sequence Neil has participated in for Jail. "In one sequence, I go in the night to the bath and see one boy performing oral sex on another. I interrupt them and one of them says, 'You had to come and spoil the fun!' While we agreed to remove dialogue the scene of oral sex remains."
Not titillating
About his bold scenes, Neil says, "My nude or masturbation scenes are not for titillation. It's a very practical need in the script. My character is in Jail without sex for 2 ½ years. What does he do? He naturally seeks pleasure by himself. In the scene that we shot, my character fantasises about his girlfriend and gets his gratification. Even the love-making scene with Mugdha (Godse) has been aesthetically shot."
offbeat pleasure
Neil Nitin Mukesh may be the first mainstream Indian start to masturbate on screen. But on a more offbeat note, Rahul Bose had pleasured himself way back in 1994 in Dev Benegal's English, August. Back then, it was referred to in the film as "self-abuse", a perverted practice that the film's bureaucrat hero Agastya repeatedly indulged in out of sheer boredom. An MMS showing Shahid Kapur and Kareena Kapoor locking lips three years ago made headlines for months. But what happened afterwards? How exactly did Bebo become Saif’s girl and why did she snub his sister Soha in public? Coming soon to a theatre near you is The Secret life of Karina (that’s how the filmmaker spells it to avoid legal hassles with the actress), a B-grade film that claims to have answers to all these questions.

The film has an alleged budget of Rs 20 crores and is being produced by Spectra Multimedia Films, a production house known for making regional movies. “The film is inspired by the life of Shahid Kapur, Kareena Kapoor and Saif Ali Khan,” explains Flynn Remedios, Spectra’s executive producer. “The film will be based mostly on media reports. It’ll show the underbelly of Bollywood. We are not cooking up anything. These stories were published. We will be showing the whole incident of the Shahid-Kareena smooch and even the one when Kareena snubbed Saif’s sister Soha Ali Khan at an event,” he says.

Believe it or not, the pot boiler will also draw some instances from the infamous real life of Bollywood’s bad boy Salman Khan. The lead protagonist in the movie, cleverly named Saifee, is supposedly a mixture of Salman Khan and Saif Ali Khan’s personalities.

Remedios says, “Saifee’s character will exhibit traces of Salman’s ‘violent’ love stories with his ex girlfriends, notably Somi Ali and Aishwarya Rai.”

He explains that the film is set to go on the floors next month as the star cast is yet to be finalised.

Shradha Sharma, the actress initially chosen to play the lead role of Karina, has since declined the offer. “I wasn’t comfortable playing this character as I do not want to offend Kareena Kapoor. There was a scene in which Shaheed [the screen name for the actor playing Shahid Kapur’s role] cuts his wrists for the actress and I found all this very uncomfortable,” says Sharma.

When asked to react, Salman’s spokesperson Alok Mathur said that if the production house is openly claiming that the character is that of Salman, “they will get into real trouble”.

“They are just out to get publicity. They can’t get the real Salman, toh Salman ke naam ka faayda uthaaenge. Such films always flop,” said Mathur.

Responding to the matter, Shahid Kapur’s spokesperson said, “Shahid doesn’t know about such a film and is not going to bother. It is a B-grade film and these people are clearly doing it for publicity.”

Kareena Kapoor and Saif Ali Khan were not available for comment.

He also owns a Japan Shito-Ryu karate school and it is here that Ash has enrolled herself to learn this ancient martial arts. The film requires her to strain her muscles in some scenes and exhibit her karate skills. She also wants to be fitter as the film supposedly will show her doing some power stunts."
The insider adds, "The movie will have scenes in which Rajnikanth and Aishwarya will be engaged in karate fight sequences. They are even supposed to fight with each other but that's because Rajnikanth is playing Ash's teacher in that scene. He will be shown as someone who takes on the mantle to train karate to his beloved (Ash) as well as some others so that they can protect themselves against evil forces."

Earlier, she had visited his Maverick Productions office as she was being considered for a role in his film to launch Chirag Paswan — son of former Union minister Ram Vilas Paswan.

The doctor-turned-actor was linked with his Kumkum co-star Juhi Parmar during his small screen acting days. He had a short-lived marriage with New Delhi-based Ishmit Dhadial, from whom he is divorced. While Saxena refused to comment, Neetu says, "What's the big deal about being seen with him? I am outgoing and have lots of friends. There is nothing more to it. I am acting in Anuj's next film, in which he is launching Chirag Paswan. We have discovered several common aspects about our families — so there are things to talk about. Moreover, Jagmohan Mundra is another common factor — he is directing a film for Anuj and I am acting in Jag's other project."

Women may swoon when John Abraham bares his basics. But a court in Delhi was not so impressed. The Bollywood hunk may get into trouble for a Full Monty photograph from his latest film New York that was published in a city newspaper.
That is not all. Nude John may also land Delhi cops in trouble.

A lower court in Delhi on Tuesday asked the Delhi police to furnish reasons why the complaint by a local NGO in this regard was not entertained.
"Metropolitan Magistrate Alok Agarwals court has given two weeks to the SHO of Moti Nagar police station to file his reply as to why the complaint by an NGO regarding Johns obscene photograph was not entertained. Next hearing of the case has been fixed for July 30," said advocate Ramesh Chhabra, who is representing the NGO.
The photo shoot allegedly took place for the promotion of the movie New York where John is playing the role a Muslim man harassed by American agencies after the 9/11 attack. "In the photograph, the actor is covering his private parts with his hands while his trousers are below his knees. The photo is in very bad taste and the complaint was filed under Sections 292 and 294 of the Indian Penal Code (IPC)," said Chhabra.
The court took cognizance of the matter after the NGO alleged that the Moti Nagar SHO refused to file a complaint as it concerned a "big film star." "The officers at the police station requested us to directly approach the court as the matter concerned a big movie actor and could create trouble for them. We decided to go to the court of chief metropolitan magistrate where the case was directed to the court of metropolitan magistrate," said Chhabra.
The case could also land John in jail. "Its a non cognizable offence with a jail term of two to five years. Of course the allegations will have to be proved during the course of inquiry and in the court room but proofs are available in plenty as the photographs are available in public," said the advocate.
MiD DAY tried contacting John but calls made to his mobile phone remained unanswered.

Bollywood's popular couple - Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai - has been approached by animal rights group People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA) to create awareness about the plight of lovebirds through a special photo shoot.

"As India's most famous 'lovebirds', we believe that you are uniquely suited to help bring attention to the plight of these smart and sensitive birds. We would like to arrange a photo shoot with you for a 'Love Birds in Cages' ad to raise awareness about the issue, " Anuradha Sawhney, PETA India chief functionary, wrote in a letter to Abhishek and Aishwarya.

Lovebirds are small members of the parrot family and the most commonly sold birds for domestic as well as display caging, which is a punishable offence under the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals Act 1960.

The Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species restricts trading in foreign birds.

However, a black market involving 300 of the India's estimated 1, 200 species of birds thrives openly in many places.

Have you finished unwrapping your birthday (June 8) gifts yet? Which is best one of all?
The best gift was that dad flew into Mumbai from Los Angeles for four days and then we went together to Macau.

His visit was supposed to be a surprise but in all her excitement, my manager Nisha just let it slip out. But that was very sweet of him. I got some 500 books and the most delicious home-baked carrot cake from Monika, my publicist.

At 24, how would you sum up your personality?
I was born and brought up in the film industry. I have seen dad go through a lot - I had the ringside view of his struggle and stardom. He was never aware of his super-stardom, work has been worship for him. That experience, together with my mom and sis Rhea, keeps me well-grounded. I certainly don't have any false sense of self importance.

I am very hard-working. I am like the pit bull - I never give up on anything. Like I get claustrophobic in lifts but I made sure I rode up and down in the elevator from the 38th floor hotel room in Macau recently with a brave face. I am scared of going underwater, so I will take to deep-sea diving.

The easiest perhaps is facing the camera? Your recent photo spreads have been scintillating.
Facing the camera for films surely comes easy to me because that is such a great escape. You are playing someone else! But I hate still camera. I overcame that apprehension working with Mr Bhansali when we had hundreds of photoshoots. I also don't look at myself in the mirror, I get self-critical and self-conscious.

We heard that you will be soon busying yourself in a workshop with your co-stars in Ayesha.
Ayesha is not a pure love story, it is about six or seven friends played by Ira Dubey, Amita , Lisa, Cyrus Sahukar, Arunoday Singh and Abhay Deol.

Since the film spans over 63 days, we all have to really be friends before the film goes on floors. So if we have to work together for nearly four months we should have mutual trust too. Now that Abhay is back from New York, we can hold the workshops.

How is it working for the first time with a lady director, Rajshri Ojha?
Oh, we keep discussing back stories for every character in Ayesha. I can be annoying with all my questions to the director. I used to badger Mr Bhansali and Mr Mehra too.

So Rajshri is no exception - at times she asks me when I will stop asking questions! (laughs) As for women directors , I think they make films most beautifully. I am a big Mira Nair fan because she uses space with her actors so effectively.

What's Ayesha like? Do you identify with her?
Ayesha is the Indianised version of Jane Austen's character, as you know already. Ayesha is a motherless girl who has taken care of the family. She wants to be in control - she likes everything to be perfect. She's smart and perceptive. But she challenges everybody which makes her self-destructive in a way.

How and why did Abhay Deol come into the picture?
Abhay is a brilliant actor. He can be fun and he has the confidence to carry off this role. He is a very secure actor, he knows who he is. He suits the role of Knightley aka Arjun who is a very sorted-out guy and he is at ease with Ayesha as a woman of substance.

So is Ayesha anti-marriage? What's your view about the institution of matrimony?
Ayesha definitely feels that marriage is not a merger. I am a romantic, so I too feel marriages cannot be arranged, but since I also know that my parents love me so selflessly, I will be smart about bringing home someone whom I love and of whom they approve. I will have to do a balancing act.

You are a Jane Austen fan. What do you admire about her heroines?
All her protagonists are independent, self respecting women. They read, write and play music. They have a definite sense of self-entitlement. And I am quite a feminist, so I love her work and most of my favourite authors are women writers like Sylvia Plath.

Are you doing Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra's Sahibaan?
Mehra speaks to me about so many films, Sahibaan is one of them. Let us see which one of these works out. But I want to with him for sure. He is extremely realistic - a good man and a great filmmaker. I want to play characters of conflict - like the ones in his films.

You have been signed up by Dharma Productions for I Hate Love Stories opposite Imran Khan. So are you prepared to get away from the traditional mould and don a bikini if "the role demands"?
Punit Malhotra is the young, earnest director of the film. It's a young man's sweet romantic take. This will be a lovely film for Imran and me. It is a love story, a date flick.

As for wearing a bikini - well I wear it in real life and I have worn angarkhas, salwar-kameez, bandana, jeans, skirts, gunjee - whatever it takes. If the character I play is on the beach - the correct gear would have to be a bikini. (squeals away naughtily).

What kind of roles are you being offered these days?
Oh absolutely anything - my sister is going through umpteen scripts offered to me. It is flattering that most of these are strong women roles.

Having been an assistant director, when will the director in you surface?
At present, I am still evolving as an actor. But the writer in me is wanting to surface. I don't know if I can be a good director because I am not so good at dealing with people. I would rather write screenplays.

I was someone who in my teenage years read a lot of Mills and Boons and I'd wish, 'Oh my God! If this perfect love only happens to me like every girl reading Mills and Boons hopes for.'

That was my idea of love that was my idea of romance with a perfect man. So you set out in your mind the Mills and Boon man who takes over, who knows what you need before you need it, who is your caretaker.

So you grow up with those ideals and come out in the real world only to find out that there is no such man. That was my first brush with romanticism.

School seductions:
My ideal romance during my teenage years was Tom Cruise. I was crazy about him. Every time I used to look at his posters, I would feel so inadequate because someone like Tom Cruise would've been so far removed from the reality of my world and existence. But then you grow up and you discover that it is possible that your ideal man is the guy next door.

The ideal man:
Today, I want a man who is completely real, who is not put on but is a self-made man. He should have worked for everything that he is today. He didn't get it easy in life from Papa. I do not have anything against other men but if both of them were kept equal, I'd be siding the self-made one.

Romanticism and Sensuality:
There is a very fine line here. I think sensuality goes very well with romanticism. Therefore it's the more beautiful part of being sexual. It's the more emotional part of the idea of sexual.

When women feel stressed, tired or run-down, they often lose the desire of being sensual. Take time to give your body a treat; indulge yourself and awaken your five senses of smell, sound, sight, touch and taste.
Chocolates - romantic, sensual and seductive
If anyone is willing to share his chocolates voluntarily with someone else, it means he really cares for that person. That's the bottom line. When someone gives up their chocolates for you, you know that they care. Chocolates will give you a major head start on any serious seduction and is one reason why chocolate is the absolute bestseller of all time for romantic holidays of all types.

I would love to do a photo shoot with melted chocolate all over my body. You see the sensuality in the picture the moment you see it but when it comes to taking it off your body, the last thing I'll do is to take a shower in the studio where the shoot is going on.

I was shocked and I never thought it was possible. There was a time when one used to be shy and reserved about talking on such a topic but now 'sex' has become very clinical. It's a fact of life.

Sex in films:
India still needs to do a lot of running around when it comes to sex in films. I mean, it will take a good couple of years to break the shackles of sex. For the moment, we've got Rakesh Roshan's Kites coming out.
I think it's going to be the most romantic and sensual films we Indians would've seen till now in a very long time. From the West, I liked Dirty Dancing. Not because of the name but because of it's sensual nature in their dance moves.

City Of Angels too is one of my favourites. I must say this that the physical aspect of love has to be treated beautifully and you can see that happening in our Hindi cinema now and Kites is going to take it to the next level.

Private moments:
I would love a photographer to click very candid pictures of catching people in their private moments.

It can't get more romantic and erotic beyond that, because that's when your guard is down. You're just the way you want to be in that moment. You're least bothered about who's watching and who's around you.

Passionate engagements:
I have no problems when it comes to talking about sex because I am very 'open' on the subject.

Kamal Haasan has yet to see his daughter Shruti's B-Town debut, Luck. Apart from singing and performing stunts for Soham Shah's actioneer, the newbie has also shed her inhibitions. Shruti's skinfest in a bikini for Luck was because as is it is said in B-Town lingo the scene needed it.

Says Shruti, "When Soham narrated the script, I did not even consider the bikini thing as a big deal it was logical to the premise. While shooting for it, the weather was very weird that day. It was freezing cold, but apart from that it was like any other scene in the film for me."

Informs Soham, "Shruti did work out to get a toned body. Moreover she worked more hard to maintain it. We shot the sequence in Cape Town. The temperature was only two degrees. She had to brave the icy weather for the shoot."

The director adds, "The scene involves Imran Khan, Ravi Kissen and Mithun Chakraborthy. Shruti was not at all apprehensive of wearing a two-piece swim wear as she was aware of it from before. The scene is totally justified as Ravi Kishen's character pins his eyes on her."

The bikini was styled keeping the scene in mind by Soham's wife, Binal Shah, a fashion designer. She says, "I bought a plain Bebe bikini that fitted Shruti perfectly. I then embellished it with mother of pearls in shades of green that matched the night pool ambience."
