Crime file of indian film stars!
Even as the ripple effect of Shiney Ahuja's "Sins" hits Bollywood hard, it must be remembered that this is not the first time that a Bollywood star has been accused of sexual abuse/assault. Many Indian film personalities have, in the past, had the misfortune of running into the Law Machine; many escaped with bruises, many lost their careers!
Here are names of a few movie personalities who burnt their hands either on Page 3, or at the altar of Justice.
Sanjay Dutt
Bollywood's Bad Boy I, had opened his police file long back. The tale is too "popular" to be repeated!
M K Thyagaraj Bhagavathar
The pre-Independence superstar of Tamil, was tried and sentenced in a murder case. He was acquitted after a considerable term in jail, but could never gather himself up for a second try at the top slot!
MR Radha
The Tamil character actor shot at fellow actor and Dravida movement icon MGR (in the picture), in 1967, and spent several years in jail for it.
N.Balakrishna
Telegu film actor and son of late N T Rama Rao, N.Balakrishna allegedly shot film producer B Suresh and his friend Satyanarayan Choudhury at his house in Jubilee Hills in Hyderabad on June 3, 2004. The case is still running!
Rajesh Khanna
The actor landed in a cesspool when yesteryear actress Amita’s 15-year-old daughter Sabiha accused him of "molesting" her. What followed was one of the most shameful chapters in Indian film history.

Monica Bedi
Monica Bedi was arrested in Portugal, and was deported to India along with "gangster boy friend" Abu Salem in 2005. An Indian Court convicted Monica for passport forgery. She was acquitted of all criminal charges by a Bhopal court on July 16, 2007, due to "lack of evidence against her". Yet another case, for possessing a passport from Hyderabad on forged documents in the name of Sana Malik, is pending in a Hyderabad court.
Madhur Bhandarkar
Starlet Preeti Jain accused Madhur Bhandarkar of repeatedly raping her after promising her a "bhoomika" in one of his films. Preeti Jain has surfaced again, following the Shiney revelation, and has spoken of how she would fight for justice "till the end".
Anupam Kher
A film monthly once accused Anupam Kher of trying to molest actress Mamta Kulkarni’s sister.
Aditya Panscholi
Aditya Panscholi was accused of raping Pooja Bedi's domestic help.
